The acb has celebrated the Chinese Tiger Year during the draw for the #CopaACB (King’s Cup) in Granada, held this Monday in the city that will host the event from February 17 to 20. The reason for this celebration is that the games can be followed in China through Bilibili, thanks to the agreement that the consulting firm Kalea Sport & Entertainment reached with the best European league and the Chinese streaming video giant in September 2021. That also includes the broadcasts of the Super Cup and the Endesa League.
The hosters of the event, the prestigious Spanish basketball commentators Fran Fermoso and Lalo Alzueta (Movistar+), took the opportunity to congratulate the Chinese New Year of the Tiger that is being celebrated these days and whose celebrations will end a few days before one of the biggest Spanish sports events begins in Granada. They have even made an effort to wish a Happy Chinese New Year of the Water Tiger in Chinese.

Moreover, the president of the acb, Antonio Martín, the authorities of Andalusia and Granada and representatives of the board of directors of the eight clubs that will compete in the Copa (Real Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia Basket, Joventut, Lenovo Tenerife, Rio Breogán, UCAM Murcia and Baxi Manresa), posed next to various Chinese elements of the Year of the Tiger.

The Mini Cup is also watched in Bilibili
The acb King’s Cup will not be the only basketball event that will be broadcasted on Bilibili in February. Chinese spectators will be able to enjoy the final phase of the Mini Copa Endesa, as was the case with the previous phase played in December. This competition with the best U14 basketball players will start a day earlier, on February 16, and will kick off five days full of good basketball that can be enjoyed on site in Granada, and also in China thanks to the alliance between Bilibili, acb and Kalea Sport & Entertainment.

There will be more actions of acb and their clubs that will be watched in the coming days. Some players have sent their congratulations for the new lunar year to the followers of Bilibili, and Urbas Fuenlabrada, a club with which Kalea Sport & Entertainment collaborates, is preparing several actions that will be revealed in the coming days.
