The acb will be seen in China thanks to Kalea Sport & Entertainment after reaching an agreement with Bilibili for the full broadcasting of the Super Cup, acb League and the Copa del Rey.

All these competitions can be seen through Bilibili, a hugely successful online platform in China that has 223 million active users per month. In addition, it is the favorite application for young audiences: 86% of its users are under 35 years old.

With this agreement, fans in China will be able to enjoy more than 330 acb matches live and for free through one of their favorite channels.

“We are very satisfied to promote the acb in China with Bilibili, it is the best way in which we could do it”, explains Antonio Martín, president of the acb, who adds that “it is a first-rate partner with a very high number of followers, and through him we will show in a very natural way the basketball that is practiced in our league, its freshness and competitiveness ”.

The beginning of a long adventure

“It is the beginning of a long adventure. We are aware of the interest in basketball in China and we are aware of the potential of the acb there ”, commented Fran González, CEO of Kalea Group, a business group that has bridged the gap between the Asian giant and the second best basketball league in the world.

The agreement signed with Bilibili by which the acb will be seen in China is part of a strategic project prepared by the acb and the consulting firm Kalea Sport & Entertainment for the introduction and development of acb basketball in China. This plan includes the development of academic projects and player training, as well as an important digital boost in the most relevant Social Networks in the Asian giant.
